M&S to open second store at Battersea Power Station

It comes as part of the brand’s more than £30m investment in its stores across London for the current financial year.

The new 8,400sq ft store will have a curated range of womenswear including lingerie, menswear, beauty and accessories from its location on the Ground Floor in Boiler House North.

The new M&S store at Battersea is set to create an estimated 30 new jobs with recruitment starting in September.

M&S to open a new store in Battersea Power Station

The new Clothing & Beauty store joins M&S’ existing foodhall at the Power Station, which opened back in November 2022 on Electric Boulevard.

The market-style store currently has 150 employees and offers a range of M&S favourites including its Dine In, as well as exciting foodhall offerings including a Mai Sushi Counter and an M&S Pizza Counter and is the first store to feature the M&S Pie Counter.

Since its regeneration of the Battersea Power Station, it has created a new riverside neighbourhood with more than 11.2 million visitors in 2023.

The new M&S Clothing & Beauty Store will join more than 140 shops, bars, restaurants and unique leisure experiences in and around the Grade II listed building.

Discussing the new store, Will Smith, Property Director at M&S, said: “We always want to deliver stores that excite and inspire our customers – this new location will allow us to do just that.
