Unspecified road works on Station Road in north Harrow will be ongoing again throughout the month and will not be completed until the start of July, but South Way will reopen midway through the month having been shut while gas works are carried out.
While some road closures will only last a couple of days, minimising disruption, others will last weeks. The closures could cause traffic disruption for residents who may need to find an alternative route to get to their destination, whilst lane closures on major roads in the borough could result in long delays.
Major closures include that of South Way, which will have been closed for around three weeks when it reopens on June 16. Wetheral Drive in Canons Park, which has been closed since the end of last month, will open up again on June 9 when the gas works are expected to be completed.
