Three police officers injured after being assaulted in Harrow Town Centre

Three police officers have been injured after being assaulted by a man in Harrow Town Centre on Friday (7 August).

Footage sent into Harrow Online shows five police cars, one police van and an ambulance at the scene after the man was arrested. We have also received footage that shows the man punching a police officer in the face.

A member of Harrow Online Group said: “Anyone know what happened in Harrow this evening lots of police by taste of Lahore?”

A Met police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 18:22hrs on Friday, 7 August to Station Road in Harrow following concerns for a man’s welfare.

“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.

“As the man was being escorted to the ambulance, he became aggressive and assaulted three officers.

“The officers sustained minor injuries.”
