A boiler service man in Pinner has been robbed of £600 worth of tools yesterday (3 August).

The thief accessed the property via an unlocked site gate prior to stealing tools belonging to the engineer.

Pinner MPS tweeted: “Yesterday, in Moss Lane, #Pinner, a boiler engineer had £600 worth of tools stolen after an opportunist thief accessed the rear of a house via its open side gate.

“If you have workmen at your home, ensure they are the only ones able to access it by securing all entry points.”

It’s not the first tool theft in Pinner in recent weeks. Around a month ago Harrow MPS tweeted: “If you find you are missing a selection of tools from the back of your works van, and you were travelling through Pinner this afternoon, please contact us by calling 101 quoting CAD: 4049/03JUL20 and describing what you lost, and we will reunite you with them.”
